The Appaloosa Cutting Horse Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the cause of the Appaloosa cutting horse, whether on the ranch or in the show arena, and to encourage the showing of Appaloosa cutting horses in the contest arena.The first objective of the Association is the development of a standard methods under which all Appaloosa cutting horse contests would be conducted in an equitable manner.

One of the most important functions of the Appaloosa Cutting Horse Association is the approving of cutting horse contests and the keeping of complete records of these contests. Individual records are maintained on each horse and/or Non-Professional rider. At the end of each annual point year the Appaloosa Cutting Horse Association Top-Ten Cutting Horses, Top Ten Non-Professional Riders, Top Ten Youth Riders, Champion and Reserve Champion are recognized and honored by the Association. Champions and Reserve Champions are named in each category, and in addition a Champion Stallion, Mare and Gelding are named in the Open Cutting division.

Congratulations to Mary Jane Moonshine owned by Stephanie Eagleberger and Jake Dahl. Mary Jane Moonshine was ridden by Todd Adolf to the 3 Year Old Futurity Champion! Earned a World Championship Trophy, Gist Belt Buckle, World Champion Picture Frame, along with a Payout of over $4,500!!!!! The ApCHA Jane Norman Memorial Masters Non – Pro Cutting was won by Ima Smart Colonel. The Allens Chick A Dee son earned $860. for owner/rider Frank Cole.

The ApCHA World Championship 4 Year Old Cutting Derby was won by Smooth Application,  shown by Doug Jordan and owned by M. Wade Smith,  Geary, Oklahoma.  The payout was $3844.60.
